Over 20 Years an Elementary Teacher
My name is Jennifer M Sullivan, I am a committed and experienced elementary school educator with over two decades of experience teaching at Brookside Elementary School, situated on Long Island in Baldwin, N.Y. I graduated from Hicksville High School in 1996 and subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Long Island University in 2000, as well as a Master's Degree in Special Education from the same institution in 2003.

Throughout my career, I have devoted myself to instilling confidence in my students and providing them with every tool necessary to reach their full potential. I am qualified and certified to teach math, reading, and writing to students in grades 1 through 6.
As an educator, I am aware of the unique needs of individual students and am committed to finding the most effective methods to enhance their academic performance and self-esteem. My approach involves customized instruction and guidance that is tailored to each student's strengths and challenges, while prioritizing their comfort and confidence. My goal is to create an engaging and informative learning environment that students find enjoyable. In my personal life, I enjoy maintaining a fitness regimen, exploring new places through travel, and spending quality time with my family.

You Need
Both online (computer) and in person (done at a local library) needs to be scheduled. After payment, please call me to arrange that and to go over what your child needs help with. All sessions are 1 hour in length unless otherwise discussed. Only 1st grade through 6 the grade is available.
